Do you accept CDCP patients?+
Yes — Richmond Centre Dental Clinic accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Bring your Sun Life CDCP member card and a piece of ID, and let us know when you book so we can confirm what to bring.
How do the CDCP income tiers work?+
CDCP coverage is based on your adjusted family net income. Households under roughly $70,000 receive full coverage of eligible costs, while households up to $89,999 receive partial coverage with a co-pay. Service Canada confirms your tier; we help you understand it.
Do some treatments need preauthorization?+
Yes. Certain services — such as crowns, dentures and some other procedures — require preauthorization under the CDCP. We’ll prepare and submit the request on your behalf and explain any portion not covered before we begin.
Do you accept other insurance too?+
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans and are happy to submit claims on your behalf, so you pay only your portion. We’ll always give you a clear estimate before treatment.
Eligibility is determined by Service Canada, not by our clinic. Coverage, co-pay and preauthorization are confirmed before treatment.
